Batch App Promo Video Variants from One Product Brief

To batch app promo videos, keep the product brief stable and give each treatment a different useful job.

One source-bound app brief can support several genuinely different treatments.

To batch app promo videos, keep the product brief stable and give each treatment a different useful job. One piece can recognize the problem, another explain the mechanism, and another demonstrate the action. That creates variety without requiring several unrelated product claims or pretending that one recording proves every feature.

The worked brief below describes a fictional reading app called Pagekit. It lets a reader save one article to a chosen project collection. The scripts are original editorial examples, not real app behavior, customer results or finished outputs generated by Prolifik.

Write the brief around one supported action

For your own app, choose a current feature that your intended viewer can access under the stated conditions. Include its relevant source material and the actual recording if you will demonstrate it.

The Pagekit brief has five parts:

  • Viewer: a person collecting reading for one project.
  • Problem: saved articles end up in a loose list.
  • Action: choose a project collection when saving an article.
  • Available material: approved product explanation, conceptual reading imagery and a current demo recording.
  • Exclusions: no automatic organization of old articles, time-saving figure or claim about finding every lost link.

Those exclusions shape the scripts. They are not an administrative exercise added after production. A clear boundary lets you write several useful pieces without repeatedly checking whether a dramatic hook invented a new capability.

The batch creation guide covers organizing a wider production session. This tutorial instead works one app brief into specific output treatments you can make together.

Create four different treatments

Use these authored examples as a starting structure, then substitute verified behavior from your own app.

Treatment Authored creative Required source
Text Story “Saved for later is easier to use when later has a place. Put this project's articles in one collection.” Approved explanation of collections
Image Carousel Slide 1: one project, loose articles. Slide 2: choose the project collection. Slide 3: save one article there. Slide 4: reopen the collection. Slide 5: start with one article. Verified steps and suitable explanatory visuals
Hook & Demo “That article belongs with this project.” Show one article being saved, then the result in the selected collection. Your current permitted demo recording
Caption Meme “Me saving another article before checking the other twenty tabs.” Appropriate permitted meme treatment and an honest joke about the problem

The meme does not prove that Pagekit closes tabs or fixes browser performance. The Text Story explains the idea without pretending to be a recording. The demo shows one action. The carousel makes the sequence explicit. Their different jobs provide the variety.

The product video examples guide helps distinguish these jobs before choosing a format. Do not add a fifth version unless it supplies a new useful answer rather than another way to say “save articles.”

Reuse inputs without flattening the scripts

Use a source-to-output sheet to run the four creations together. This is a manual working sheet, not an undocumented Prolifik batch control. The example filenames below are fictional references for your own files.

Creation request Input reused Input prepared separately Accepted output to save
Text Story Pagekit brand and collection explanation Short narrative for one project Text-led export with the collection condition intact
Image Carousel The same brand and supported steps Five-slide copy and suitable reading imagery Reviewed slides or video, with delivery type recorded
Hook & Demo Product name and audience Your actual pagekit-save-demo.mp4 recording and chosen opener Demo export that shows the recorded action
Caption Meme Approved tone and the loose-list problem Permitted meme source and caption Captioned export without a fabricated customer quote

Prepare the shared brand input once, then make the format-specific requests. If the recording is missing, the demo request waits while the other requests can proceed. A later upload should not silently change the already accepted Text Story or carousel. Save each output under its own identifier so the publisher can distinguish the four pieces.

Keep the product name, selected action and conditions consistent across the set. Reuse approved colors and imagery where they fit. Change the opening, sequence and visual treatment to suit each output rather than pasting the same paragraph into four templates.

For a carousel, describe what each slide adds. For the demo, name the exact recording section and visible result. For the meme, make the joke recognizable without exposing a real person's private work or inventing a testimonial. For a Text Story, read the words alone to check that they form a complete point.

In Prolifik, choose the appropriate creation flow for each treatment. The current Hook & Demo flow needs your recording and is not automatically part of every automation batch. Do not assume one automation button generates the entire four-treatment set with every required input attached.

Turn the brief into specific creation prompts

An Image Carousel brief could say: “Explain saving one article into a project collection through the five slide roles above. Use conceptual reading imagery, not fake app screenshots. Preserve the limitation to one demonstrated action.” Review the returned words and visuals before treating it as finished.

For Hook & Demo, add: “Use the uploaded recording of one article being saved. Keep the selected collection and saved result visible. Do not imply automatic sorting.” A website can supply brand context, but it does not automatically record your app or create genuine filmed proof.

If a generated draft ignores the source limits, repair or reject it. Having several treatments ready does not justify publishing a misleading variant to maintain the batch count.

Keep the outputs distinct through the final export

Watch all four files in order at phone size. The viewer should encounter recognition, explanation, steps and proof, not the same message behind different backgrounds. Check captions, complete endings, legibility and the reachable next action for each piece.

Save approved files before assigning dates. Native Prolifik publishing covers TikTok, Instagram, YouTube and X; manual destinations need a separate delivery step. A batch of exports is not proof that all platforms received them.

Use Prolifik for app developers with one current feature brief, approved imagery and a genuine demo recording. Produce the treatments that your source supports, then keep the variants that give the viewer different useful reasons to understand the app.

Create the next app promo variants

Use one product brief with the source material each chosen treatment needs.
