GTA 6 clip editor

GTA 6 releases on 19 November 2026 for PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. There is no PC version at launch, so the footage will come off console capture and off other people's streams. Prolifik turns both into captioned vertical clips and posts them for you.

Ready before launch day

Set your brand, connect TikTok, Instagram and YouTube, and pick your posting times now. On 19 November the only new step is pasting a link.

Console capture in, vertical out

PS5 and Xbox Series clips come off the console at 16:9. Upload the file and it comes back reframed to 9:16 with captions burned in.

Streams count as sources too

Paste a Twitch VOD, a Kick VOD or a YouTube upload. One launch-night stream is one job, and you can ask for up to 20 clips from it.

Launch week

What a GTA 6 clipping day looks like

Clip minutes are metered on the source you send in, not on the clips that come out. A two hour session is 120 minutes whether it yields 3 clips or 20. Lite includes 60 minutes a month, Starter 360 and Pro 1,400. Each job uses a minimum of 5 minutes, and failed or cancelled jobs are refunded in full.

Capture or paste

Record with the PS5 Create button or the Xbox Share button and upload the file, or paste a public Twitch, Kick or YouTube link from a stream you are allowed to clip.

Pull the batch

Ask for up to 20 candidates from one session. Turn on cutaways so the Clipper can pull in what is on screen, and sound hits so the cuts land on the beat.

Approve and let it post

Launch week is a volume game. Approve in the Library, and the calendar spreads the batch across TikTok, Reels and Shorts at the times you set instead of dumping them all at once.

What clips

The GTA 6 moments that travel

Open-world games reward reaction, not mechanics. The clips that spread are the ones where something unplanned happens and someone says something about it.

First-look reactions

The first time anyone sees a place, a vehicle or a mechanic. These have a short shelf life, which is exactly why an automatic pass beats scrubbing a four hour VOD.

Physics and chaos

Crashes, ragdolls, police chases gone wrong. Short, loud, self-explanatory, and they need almost no context in the caption.

Story and detail finds

Easter eggs, overheard NPC lines, map details. These land better with captions, because most people watch muted on the first pass.

No PC at launch

What console-only means for clippers

GTA 6 ships on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has not put a PC version in the launch window, so the usual PC clipping stack of ShadowPlay, ReLive, Medal and OBS replay buffers is off the table for the first stretch.

That leaves two practical sources. Your own console capture, which you save with the Create or Share button and move to your phone or drive, and other people's streams on Twitch, Kick and YouTube. Prolifik takes both: upload the capture file, or paste the stream link.

It also means a wave of clipping accounts with no first-party footage at all, working entirely from streams. If that is the plan, make sure the creator has granted permission and that the campaign rules allow reused footage.

Questions

When does GTA 6 come out?
19 November 2026, on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. Rockstar has not announced a PC version for the launch window. Preloading is expected to open about a week before.
Can I clip GTA 6 without owning it?
You can clip from public Twitch, Kick and YouTube streams, which is how most clipping accounts will work in launch week given there is no PC version. Getting permission from the creator is on you, and campaigns that pay for clips normally grant it in writing.
How do I get console capture into Prolifik?
Save the clip with the PS5 Create button or the Xbox Share button, move it to a phone or computer, and upload the file as a Clipper job. There is no console app to install.
Will the clips be 9:16 for TikTok?
Yes. Console capture is 16:9 and the Clipper reframes it vertical, burns in word-level captions in your brand font and colours, and hands back clips that are ready to post to TikTok, Reels and Shorts.
How long are the clips?
You set the range per job. The default is 30 to 90 seconds, and both bounds are adjustable anywhere from 5 seconds to 10 minutes. Every clip ends on a full sentence rather than cutting mid-word.
How are clip minutes counted?
On the length of the source you send in, not on the clips that come out. A two hour stream uses 120 clip minutes whether it produces 3 clips or 20. Each job charges a minimum of 5 minutes and failed jobs are refunded automatically.
Is there a watermark?
No. Output is watermark-free on every plan, including Lite at €20 a month.
What does it cost?
Three plans: Lite €20 a month, Starter €49 and Pro €149, with 20% off on yearly billing. The AI Clipper is included on every plan, and month one is charged at checkout. See pricing.
