Make the article the source of the video

Prolifik turns an accessible blog URL into a saved Content Source: the topic, key points, argument and useful quotes from the page. Select that source when creating a video so the script uses the article's ideas. Your brand profile supplies the voice and styling.

Choose a format, review the script and rendered draft, then download it or approve it for your connected channels. For the broader website workflow, see URL to video.

How to turn a blog post into video

Add the article to your brand

Open the brand profile, find Content Sources and choose Add. Give the source a name, paste the article URL and select Analyze. Use a public article you own or have permission to adapt. Wait for its status to become Ready.

Select Content as the source

In Content Studio, switch Source from Brand to Content and choose the saved article. Pick a format and give the draft a specific direction, such as one lesson, one objection or one checklist from the post.

Review the script and the video

Check names, numbers, quotations and qualifications against the original. Read the on-screen text at phone size. Change a repeated hook or an unsupported claim before keeping the draft.

Download or schedule the approved version

Download the finished MP4, or approve it in the Library for the connected TikTok, Instagram Reels, YouTube Shorts and X accounts. The content calendar handles your approved queue.

If an import fails, retry it or use an accessible article or a topic brief instead. For a source marked Ready, review and edit its saved analysis on the brand page when important points are missing or incorrect.

One article, three different video briefs

Take our guide to batch-creating social media content. Its central advice is to standardize the production setup while keeping each post's idea distinct. These editorial examples show three ways to brief a video from that source.

Source idea

Keep brand and technical rules consistent. Choose the hook, evidence and pacing for each individual post.

  1. Image Carousel

What belongs in a batch brief

Opening: “Before you batch a month of posts, decide what should repeat.”

Sequence: audience and goal; approved source material; brand rules; review criteria. Keep one decision on each slide.

  2. Text Story

    Consistency can turn into repetition

Opening: “Your posts can share a font without sharing the same idea.”

Direction: contrast the fixed production rules with the editorial decisions that need to change. End with a concrete check: could two posts exchange scripts and still mean the same thing?

  3. Video Hook & Demo

Review the batch before it reaches the calendar

Opening: “Watch the batch as a feed before you schedule it.”

Footage needed: your own recording of the review or scheduling process. The article supplies the idea; upload the recording that shows the action.

Choose the format the article can support

A checklist suits an Image Carousel. An opinion can become a Text Story. A relatable mistake can supply a Meme Reaction or Caption Meme. Use a Clip Montage when the visuals genuinely help explain the point.

Video Hook & Demo needs uploaded demo footage. The URL does not record your product, and an extracted sentence does not prove that a feature works. Start with the text-led formats when you have an article and no recording.

If you want a carousel-only workflow, the blog post to carousel guide covers slide selection in more detail. For channel-specific creation, use the AI TikTok video generator.

Keep the facts while changing the format

Make each short video about one point the article actually supports. Keep the context that changes a claim: who a result applies to, when a price was checked, or which product version a tutorial shows. Use the source's actual figures and wording when a quote matters.

You decide how many drafts are useful. A long article can repeat the same idea, while a short announcement may have one clear point. Review the set for repeated hooks before approving it.

Content Automations on Pro can generate drafts from a selected saved source on a schedule. The saved analysis supplies the topic for later runs. If the article changes, review and edit that analysis before creating another batch.

Blog-to-video questions

Can I turn a blog post into TikToks, Reels and Shorts?

Yes. Add the post as a Content Source, create and review vertical videos from it, then download or schedule the approved versions to your connected accounts.

Does it read an entire blog archive at once?

This workflow starts with an individual saved URL. Add the articles you want to use and choose the source for each run. It does not automatically crawl every post on your blog.

Will it read the article aloud?

The workflow on this page adapts ideas into Prolifik's visual formats. It does not promise an automatic narrated reading of the complete article.

Can I use a paywalled or private article?

The importer needs access to the page. For inaccessible material you are entitled to use, write a topic brief from the relevant points instead of depending on the URL import.

Is there a free blog-to-video plan?

New accounts get a 7-day free trial with no card. Continued use needs a paid plan. See pricing for current video allowances and trial limits.
