Refund & Cancellation Policy

1. Our Disclosures

This Refund & Cancellation Policy ("Policy") explains how cancellations, refunds, and the EU consumer right of withdrawal apply to paid Subscriptions to Prolifik, operated by Plant science, MB ("Prolifik", "we", "us", "our"). It applies in addition to our Terms of Service. Capitalised terms not defined here have the meaning given in the Terms.

Nothing in this Policy limits statutory consumer rights you may have under the law of your country of residence.

2. Subscription Model

2.1 Prolifik offers three Subscription plans: Starter (€49 per month), Pro (€149 per month), and Enterprise (custom). Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance by Stripe in Euros and auto-renew at the start of each Billing Cycle until cancelled.

2.2 Enterprise contracts are governed by a separate Master Services Agreement (MSA) signed with Prolifik and are not covered by this Policy unless the MSA says so.

3. How to Cancel

3.1 You may cancel at any time from Settings → Billing inside the Service, or by emailing info@getprolifik.com from the address on your account. Cancellation stops the next renewal, and you keep paid features until the end of the current billing period.

3.2 You can reactivate by resubscribing from the same screen. Usage allowances reset at the start of each paid Billing Cycle and do not carry over between periods or plans.

4. No Pro-Rata Refunds on Mid-Cycle Cancellation

4.1 Because access continues through the paid period, we do not refund the remainder of a monthly Subscription when you cancel mid-cycle, except where required by law, under Section 5 below, or at our sole discretion.

4.2 Unused AI video credits, rendering minutes, and other usage allowances do not carry over between Billing Cycles or between plans, and are not refundable on downgrade or cancellation.

5. EU Consumer Right of Withdrawal

5.1 If you are a consumer based in the European Union, you have the right to withdraw from the contract within 14 days of purchase without giving any reason, under Directive 2011/83/EU on consumer rights. This is commonly called the "cooling-off period".

5.2 Digital content exception

Prolifik delivers digital content including AI-generated scripts, TTS voiceovers, and rendered videos. Under Article 16(m) of the Directive, you lose the right of withdrawal once supply of that digital content has begun, provided you have given prior express consent and acknowledged that the right of withdrawal is thereby lost.

5.3 Express consent

By clicking "Subscribe" on a paid plan, or by starting any AI generation or render on a paid plan, you give this express consent and acknowledge that you lose the right of withdrawal from that point onwards.

5.4 How to invoke withdrawal

If you have not yet generated or rendered any output on your paid Subscription, you may invoke the 14-day withdrawal right by emailing info@getprolifik.com with the subject "Withdrawal — [your account email]". We will refund the Subscription fee within 14 days to the original payment method.

5.5 Non-EU consumers

Consumers outside the EU should check their local law; we honour equivalent statutory rights where they apply.

6. Duplicate Charges and Billing Errors

If you are charged twice, charged after cancelling, or otherwise charged in error, contact info@getprolifik.com within 60 days of the charge. We will verify and refund valid claims, usually within 5 business days of confirmation.

7. Chargebacks

Card payments are processed by Stripe. If you open a chargeback with your bank or card issuer instead of contacting us first, your account may be suspended while the dispute is reviewed. We prefer to resolve issues directly, and in most cases we can do so faster than the chargeback process.

8. Enterprise Plans

Enterprise Subscriptions, custom-term contracts, and any annual prepayments are governed by the commercial terms signed between you and Prolifik. Where those terms conflict with this Policy, the signed agreement prevails.
